The Green’s story began in 1907 when Brighton grocer, Horace Green, created exclusive sponge cake mixes that he sold in his own bakery. 

Following the success of his exclusive recipes and his customers’ demand for simple, easy to bake cake and dessert mixtures, Green's moved into a dedicated production facility that was soon providing the whole country with high quality, time-saving recipes. The burgeoning interest in home baking was met perfectly by Green’s, and today this tradition continues.

With a focus on quality and tradition, we proudly ship our dessert mixes and treats to over 10 countries worldwide, bringing the joy of homebaking to kitchens across the globe. 

Our brand family includes Borwick’s, one of the UK’s oldest baking brands and original introducers of baking powder to the UK in 1842, and Pearce Duff's, famous for its classic blancmange and custard. 

Most recently, we introduced Luvli, a range of products that caters to appetites of multicultural Britain, and brings more interesting concepts into the home.
